Welcome

The Meeting House from Victoria Drive

The Religious Society of Friends in Bognor Regis has been at these premises since 1993 with a regular Quaker Meeting for Worship being held each Sunday morning at 10.30. Visitors, including any who would like to learn more about us, are welcome to attend our meeting or to enquire about the Quaker faith. The Meeting House has an atmosphere of calm, with a secluded garden to the rear, yet it is in a convenient central location one block from the seafront. There is easy disabled access to the building as well as off-street parking. Throughout the week, subject to availability, the meeting rooms may be hired on reasonable terms, either regularly or for single events.

Safeguarding

We are committed to enabling everyone, including children and vulnerable adults, to participate in Quaker communities without suffering harm. This extends to those hiring rooms, who are required to either have their own safeguarding policy or to adhere to the full Quaker policy which you can see here.

Bognor Regis Quaker Meeting is committed to the robust implementation of these policies and practices.    There are three main strands to this work:

  • the prevention of harm through careful checks and safe procedures
  • the taking of effective action where harm is found or suspected
  • the care of those who may be affected by harm

Area Safeguarding Coordinators are: Mike Coote (07901 917174) and Steve McMillan (07875 576438)
